DARIA POLATIN is a writer/producer on the Amazon TV series “Jack Ryan,” starring John Krasinski, her new play Palmyra was presented at the Cherry Lane Theater in New York City, and she’s the bestselling author of Devil in Ohio, now in development as a TV series.

Daria’s plays include PalmyraIn TandemGuidanceThat First FallD.C.A Fair Affair and The Luxor Express, inspired by her father’s life growing up in Egypt. Work produced at The Kennedy Center, Actors Theatre of Louisville, Naked Angels, Golden Thread, Ensemble Studio Theatre, Cape Cod Theater Project, in London and Hong Kong. Daria directed her play Laura & Sebastian (and Jordan & Bliss) in Los Angeles, and directed a new play written by and starring “Game of Thrones”’ Nikolaj Coster-Waldau. Daria wrote and directed the short film “Till It Gets Weird,” and wrote for the Hulu drama “Shut Eye.”

Daria is an alumna of Center Theatre Group’s Writers Workshop, EST’s Youngblood, and a resident playwright at The Echo Theater. She completed a residency with London’s Royal Court Theatre; BFA Boston University, MFA in Playwriting Columbia University. She is a founding member of The Kilroys, the advocacy group for gender parity on the American stage.
